Ive not seen this production before, thanks for posting the clips.

I remember seeing Angharad Rees in an old Hammer horror film," hands of the ripper!" She was very good if not a little scary, very much removed from the character of Demelza!

Ross steps in to help an urchin boy at the fair and is surprised to find it's a girl with a pretty name, Demelza:

Demelza decides to show Ross she is no longer a child and professes her love for him:

Demelza is delighted with an invitation to her first ball and persuades Ross to accept:

Demelza tries to persuade Sir John Trevaunance to speak up for Ross at his trial and gives him a cure for his sick cow:

Demelza begins to think about packing up and selling Nampara, 'cos Ross was ruined then finds that he 'ent ruined no more!

Ross has returned to Nampara from war, after being sent home unfit for service, much to the delight of Demelza:

Ross asks Demelza to go back to London with him and she has her first taste of London society: 

Demelza has the misfortune of meeting Captain Monk Adderley
