The Treneglos Family

The Treneglos family don't exactly loom large throughout the books, but are constantly in the background.

We know that John fancied Demelza from the beginning and that Ruth was jealous because Ross didn't want her before she married.

Looking through a book to find a reference the other day, I was struck by how many children they had.  He couldn't have spent all his time hunting...

Mentioned in various places are:

Agneta, the problem child

Horrie, compatriot of Jeremy

Vincent, who was lost at sea

Faith, Paula, Emmeline and Davida, mentioned occasionally - the last two most in Bella Poldark

Jonathan, eldest surviving son - a guest at Geoffrey Charles first party.

Have I missed any?

It had never occurred to me before just what a large family they had.  I rather liked old Horace, the classics scholar who was constantly unbuttoning his trousers and talking loudly so his deaf old ears could hear himself.  He was kind to Ross in his way and but for his backing Wheal Leisure would never have been re-opened. I cannot recall reading anything about his demise.
