If you go to the Desert Island Discs site (BBC Radio), you can hear the interview WG gave to Roy Plomley many years ago. His choice of recordings is interesting too.
Not sure if overseas posters can get this facility.
Thank you Mrs G for the link. Not sure if this link will get you there with one click http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p009mz6l but if not it's easy enough to go through the stages.
A delightful programme. I discovered I have much in common with WG in terms of music. His choices are very calming. I recommend listening to it.

Brief interview with Winston Graham - don't know if it's been posted before: http://player.bfi.org.uk/film/watch-poldark-author-winston-graham-1983/
I listened to this earlier today. This was the first time I had heard WG talking so it was especially interesting. His love of Cornwall is deep and true. There was a hint of a Manchester accent I thought. Pity it wasn't longer.
