A lovely shot of Winston Graham showing what an unassuming and humble man he was, just melting into the crowd on the set and enjoying being a part of it all. So lovely to see him in some as yet unpublished photos.
Tide was nearly full. Mist lay in a grey scarf along the line of the cliffs. .. and they walked home hand in hand through the slanting shadows of the new darkness.
Colin Antrobus has very kindly, as promised, shared this close up photo of Winston Graham taken down on location in Cornwall whilst filming for the second series was under way.

Here's a photo of Winston Graham that hasn't been seen before now. It's from a private collection of slides which were taken at the time of the filming of the second series of Poldark on location down in Cornwall, by Colin Antrobus, an extremely talented photographer who is in the process of converting his slides to digital. Our grateful thanks go to Colin for allowing us to share this photo and others. A much better one is promised when he finds where he stored it.
