I watched that too, lovely scene towards the conclusion with Matt S hey? The late, much missed by many creatives, Verity L was involved in loads & loads of productions, you see her name everywhere up untill the late 90's. Not sure re Poldark though. I had a brief connection with her back in the day when Linda La Plante & I were contemplating a project; Verity was Linda's 'go to' producer, but I don't recall Poldark ever being part of her rep. & I must've mentioned Verity being a fave character name etc etc...
I have just watched Mark Gatiss's excellent 'An Adventure in Space and Time' telemovie about the start of Doctor Who in 1963 (which was largely due to the influence of producer Verity Lambert). Do I have this wrong or was Verity also a producer on Poldark? I can't find any mention of it anywhere on the net but I'm sure her name is mentioned in the credits. An amazing, feisty woman. There are so many crossovers between Doctor Who and Poldark - Morris Barry and Christopher Barry were connected with both too.
