Hi Jacka woman and a very warm welcome to the Forum ! Sounds like you're really enjoying yourself and seeing some great places. Have you been into the Society's website yet as there's plenty of information about WG/Poldark/Cornwall on there as well ? If not click on the extreme left of the bar across the top and take your pick on the ladder down the left. A must see, though it can be hard to find in poor weather is WG's memorial seat in Perranporth so check the weather and tides are ok first as it's far out on the right hand headland looking out to sea and you have to cross the beach. It's where WG in about 1942/3 first wrote Poldark and later Demelza in an old holiday bungalow, gone now but the seat marks the spot. Check with the Tourist Office/ Library first too which is in an old Methodist chapel just behind the beach if you want any more local info about WG and Poldark. You can also upload pics into the forum too if you want....
Hope you have lots of chats and make plenty of friends....
Ross

I love Cornwall and Poldark I'm holidaying in St Agnes at the moment and have walked down Stippy Stappy Lane! So many familiar names here. Trying to identify where Winston Graham set all his locations. I know some are fictional, but like to feel I'm walking in the footsteps of Ross, Demelza, Dwight, etc!!! Crazy!!
