Tide was nearly full. Mist lay in a grey scarf along the line of the cliffs. .. and they walked home hand in hand through the slanting shadows of the new darkness.
I saw the original broadcast of both series , here in the states.I was 13 at the time. About 10 years ago the series was available in vhs format, I bought both of them.More recent Acorn has offered the series in dvd format.
There are differences between the two, the Acorn media dvd is more complete than the Sony pictures vhs version of the past. The vhs versions have been edited, some scenes are shortened and the endings of each episode have also been cut short.
I am looking forward to learning more about the Poldark series, I have the complete set of novels and have started reading Ross Poldark.
Congratulations! You are in for some very pleasant reading! O'm on the next to last novel right now.
