Clowance was so ready to criticize and punish her sister-in-law Cuby for her faults but actively worked to hide and excuse the faults of her own husband Stephen Carrington. Cuby's faults were out there for everyone to see. She didn't deceive anyone of her intentions. Cuby was able to recognize her folly of chasing money to keep up her family's faux pretentions, put it aside, married the man she loved, and they were truly happily married. I wonder how everyone would have seen Stephen if they had known his greatest faults. Clowance knowingly married (actually it was bigamy) a no good man, tried to prop him up as a great guy, and seemed to blame the world for her bad decisions. Also, Clowance's avoidance of her little niece Noelle up until the child was 3 years old was selfish and unkind. She punished the child out of spite towards her mother. I'm sorry but I didn't like this selfish, judgemental, spoiled brat and I don't think that she deserved Edward Fitzmorris. Hopefully, she showed him love and didn't turn cold on him like Elizabeth did to Francis.
