Tide was nearly full. Mist lay in a grey scarf along the line of the cliffs. .. and they walked home hand in hand through the slanting shadows of the new darkness.
Welcome Brigantia (great name!) and delighted to see someone from my original home area! I grew up in Middlesbrough and my parents lived in darlington untill a few years ago, i visit friends and relatives regularly and to see the wonderful northeast!
So many Newbies coming on board, how lovely to greet you...
I've just returned home after a lovely walk along the country lanes, and I have enjoyed a beautiful sunset, with bats flying low above my head. The nights be drawing in now and my candles be lit already.....
Join in with all the fun Brigantia...I be looking forward to reading your future postings...
This time from the far north (well, Stockton on Tees actually, but probably far north to Cornwall folks!)
Poldark is my favourite fiction by far. I'm usually re-reading one or other of the novels - I'm just about to start 'The Black Moon' for the umpteenth time . .
Just thought I'd drop in and say hello and I look foward to joining in with the discussions!
