Hi Teni and a warm welcome to the forum where we love to discuss WG's work, especially his Poldark books to our heart's content.
As Char said, we would all be absolutely fascinated to hear about your memories of Winston Graham and how he influenced you in your work. Even more interesting to hear that you are working as a film maker! Our great hope is that one day someone will be astute enough to recognise that the Poldark saga is worthy of a reprisal and take on the task of re-filming the story to include all 12 books which would bring WG's name back to the forefront of media attention and provide a fitting tribute to him and his exceptionally intuitive writing talent. This is my dream anyway and one which I think I can safely say most of our members share.
Which part of Oz do you come from? Look forward very much to hearing more from you and hope you will enjoy being part of this forum and that you will stick around and have some fun.

Teni, welcome to the forum, always glad to see new members. Your introduction sounds fascinating, not sure where to start.... I would be most interested in hearing bout your connections with Winston Graham, how fascinating to have known him. Dont know if you should have told us you were a film maker, we will be trying to persuade you to remake Poldark! we have many discussions about who to cast! Look forward to 'seeing' you around the forum.
I'm a musician,writer/ film maker, presently working in Australia. I admire the work of Winston Graham very much and was very fond of him;in fact he was very kind to me earlier in my career. He was a lovely lovely man. I look forward to participating in the forum.
