Welllll, Hi Caroline,

So glad to see you back at last, was beginning to think you'd given up on Podark, but then thought, no, that's just not possible, so what a great thing that you saw the prog last evening, and it fired you off all over again. I did manage to see it first time around, but missed it last evening. In your absence I have once again read all twelve books cover to cover again, and re-watched the videos, plus the previous TV showing earlier this year, and even my wife bemoaned the fact that no Series Three was ever made. It really did feel as if it was all just cut off in mid flow.

How are you and your daughter doing now, she must be well past her first birthday and growing up apace?

Anyway, as I said great to see you around again, and look forward to many new CPE focussed posts.

Dwight

Yay! Good to see you back Caroline. I too, have enjoyed reading many of your posts. Hopefully the forums are much busier and Namparagirl and I are trying very hard to keep the discussions going. Actually its not that hard at all cos we both like talking poldark and could discuss it all day everyday i think!
As an expert poldark fan and a devotee of Miss Caroline Penvenon Enys , who do you think could do justice to the role in any new adaptation?
Hope your daughter is allowing you a little more time to yourself now....

Hey Caroline, so lovely to see you back, although we've not chatted before, I've enjoyed reading many of your old posts.  How are you finding life as a Mum?  Hope all is well. Wasn't it great to see the Cult of Poldark on TV tonight, really enjoyed seeing all the actors talking so fondly about their memories of filming the series.  Lovely too that Yesterday TV are running the whole two series of Poldark again during the week.  It just goes to show that our beloved Poldark is still way up there in the popularity stakes and, without doubt, commands an enormously loyal army of fans.
Hope you're going to stick around and enjoy sinking back into the Poldarkian world again with the rest of us on here.

Bumping this up again. My promises to post again went by the wayside I'm afraid but I happened to catch the Cult of Poldark this evening and I came over all Poldarkian biggrin

So anyway, hello again oldies and nice to meet you anyone who I don't know. I guess this board has moved on in the last couple of years - am off now to explore...

OK, thanks, Greg. I figured it out, though--I was forgetting to check that "Email me" box at the bottom. imslow.gif
I also forgot to congratulate you, Caroline, on the birth of your daughter! I see now why you're so busy. I wish you all the best with her. aww.gif

Hi George I find the quickest way is to click on the "Recent Posts" button at the top biggrin

Thank you for your wishes.  It also doesn't help that I keep forgetting to click that 'subscribe' button--I don't notice that anyone's replied to topics I've posted in unless I get an email.  I guess without hitting that button, I don't get one of those.  Either that, or I keep forgetting to check the box at the bottom of this editor box. frustrated.gif
For instance, I didn't know anyone had posted in this area until I saw Alison's name on the home page! doh.gif

Hi George, very sorry to hear about your wife and my apologies too. And don't worry about the word game either as inevitably people will miss their turn for some reason or other at some stage, it's just the Rules haven't got that far to include it yet !! biggrin

No idea about the maintenance at all. Perhaps it's re-opened to coincide with WG's Centenary this summer in Cornwall ? You can see the details on the News Page on the main website.

Hope your wife gets well very quickly and see you around whenever you can make it smile

Greg

Welcome back, Caroline. Nice to see you! Ignore the "where is Caroline?" remark of mine in the Ross Poldark book area. I didn't see this post until now. doh.gif
Disappeared? No, just not using the computer as much as I'd like. My wife just returned from the hospital and needs constant care, so if I'm not here for a few days now and then, my apologies. sleep.gif
It is very nice to see the board back. Does anybody know what this 'maintenance' was, exactly? confused

Hi Caroline

Welcome back.  Thought you'd been up country with Dwight at your Aunt's again biggrin  Congrats on your new addition to the family too, though couldn't help thinking perhaps some parallels with the real Caroline's thoughts on young'uns might be in there somewhere as well ! wink

Trying to get a foursome going with GW on the word association game as before - see Game number 1 - though he's disappeared again as usual !

Well hello fellow Poldarkians!

I nearly fainted away when I saw the message from George W on IBDoF. It's wonderful to see you all back, and some new faces too, welcome. I'm skimming around trying to catch up but apologies if I don't post as frequently as I would like - when the forum went down I had nothing better to do so I now have a four month old daughter who objects to me spending any time doing things I like!

Will try to keep up as best I can and looking forward to lots of Poldark discussion. biggrin.gif
