Hello Linda. Welcome to the forums!

Everyone on here is lovely and has lots of interesting things to say so feel free to join a debate or start one of your own. We're fairly thin on the ground but passionate about the subject!

I was interested to hear that the repeats on UK Drama are all series 1. I started out watching them but got a second, more complete set of dvds just before Christmas so I didn't need to watch the ones being shown. I did wonder if they would move onto series 2 but they never seem to...

Hope to speak soon :)

Hello Everyone my name is Linda and I live in Nottinghamshire

I have loved Poldark for years and am delighted to have found this site full of like minded people!
I watched the series as a child with my Mother and later read and re-read all the books
I have just placed a bid on Ebay for the whole set so I can read them again!

My interest has been roused again after watching the first series on UK Drama
I just wish they would show series 2 instead of repeating series 1 every few months

I love the casting on the whole ...... Robin Ellis was absolutely perfect, Jud and Prudy jumped straight out of the book, Ralph Bates too but after reading the books I have always questioned why they chose Angharad Rees as Demelza....

Cornwall is one of my favorite places and I have an Aunt who lives near Prussia Cove, which I believe was used in Poldark (Ladies in Lavender being the latest to use the fantastic location)
I look forward to further discussions with members as I re-read the books and try to buy the DVD's
