Perhaps the person who wrote the query has long forgotten it. But I can answer this: in his Memoir Graham says he deliberately let his earlier novels fall out of print because he did think them inferior. He also rewrote some of the earlier books and re-issued them in later or revised texts. I hope this helps. Ellen (writing as Clary)

Hi, I have been a Winston Graham fan for many years. Although I have not read his Poldark novels I have and have read all his other novels from Night Journey onwards.


Does any one know if it is possible to get hold of the nine novels dated before Night Journey?


Another question if I may........can any one suggest an author who writes similar novels to Winston Graham`s suspense books? One off novels rather than a series. The nearest I have found is Robert Goddard.
