THANKS, everyone for the amazing and wonderful reaction to Poldark--I am very touched. It is thrilling that the new adaptation is getting off to such a cracking start. It is a tribute to Winston Graham, of course, but also to the production team and the cast led by Aidan and Eleanor. Mammoth Screen have been keen to do a *proper job* from the start and I tip my old tricorn to them. "Tis right, 'tis proper...."

So lovely to know that the new Poldark has his seal of approval and that he see's it as a fitting tribute to Winston Graham.
