Hi all

Thank you for a lovely welcome,  I was born in Truro, my family on my mum's side are from Penzance and my dad grew up in Mousehole.  If you know Mousehole at all just before you get to the harbour there is a cottage that has a huge cartwheel on the wall, it used to be brightly coloured and that is the cottage my dad grew up in.  My gran's front door was a two part stable door.

I know lots of the locations filmed as some are in Mousehole, my dad showed me when I was a little girl.

I'm currently reading the novels and am on the 7th one at the moment.

Welcome Demelza - look forward to reading your posts.  Wonder if you mean Winston Graham's book "Poldark's Cornwall" which tells you all about Cornwall including the locations used for his Poldark novels and those used in the TV series.  Good Luck.
